vertical 1: EDUCATION

Virtual reality (VR) is the new frontier of innovation in the classroom. VR can serve as an exciting tool to create immersive experiences that enhance learning and introduce students with new digital experiences. Although, still in the early stages of development, the possibilities of VR in education are endless. This hackathon will explore ideas and concepts for using VR to create first-hand learning experiences that improve learning outcomes.

Vertical 2: TRAVEL

One of the emerging sectors of virtual reality are 360-degree immersive experiences through video that transport users anywhere in the world. Many companies are working with travel destinations to create content while also working with travel brands to provide virtual tours. This technology enables a user to virtually walk around any location or destination before making a purchase. During the Hackathon students will be able to utilize and create various travel experiences by designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing through VR.
